The Bias of History

“History will be kind to me for I intend to write it.” –Winston Churchill

History is his story. Written based on perspective of events and influenced by ideologies, beliefs and traditional truths. History sides with the person who picks up the pen or orally tells the story. History shines light on the cause, which the writer subjectively ties themselves to.

History is Bias.

The villains of history are heroes if written by the villains. The heroes of history are villains if written by the villains. Perspective drives the presentation of the past and interprets his story to fit into the mold of a subjective understanding. Resonate awareness comes from the connection to the story told and is retold with the markings of the consciousness chosen to continue into the future. We are only as conscious as the stories we consider. History is Bias, his story is bias.
