Muse

Aphrodite (Greek: Ἀφροδίτη; Latin: Venus) is the Greek goddess of love and beauty.
Aphrodite: Greek goddess of love and beauty.

Muse….A beautiful poison you are.

Seductive masks you wear so well
Play into feelings, then cast your spell
It has been noticed what you aspire
It’s to be the object of one’s desire
And those who’ve taken a bite of your fruit
Begin to starve, go deaf, and mute
To all the signs that bare your venom
Where is the antidote? Part of a ransom
Where spells cast will be unmade
And masks fall off revealing a face
But still a muse you shall remain
You and I…muse…we are one in the same
