COVID-19 says-Humble yourself. I do not care how old you are, where you’re from, what your skin color is, how much money you have, how many people know of you. I do not care about your plans for today or your plans for tomorrow. I do not care what you fear or what you love.
SPIRIT says-Humble yourself. Suffering is a human condition. It lives and is practiced in the mind. Fear is a human condition. It lives and is perceived in the mind. Change is constant, transformation is inevitable. The unknown does not exist until it becomes the present.
Be where you are. Embrace the human condition. Surrender to the transformation.
“We are spiritual beings having a human experience.”
We look to the future
With thoughts of the past
Assuming what’s present
Is what will last
Take the chances
Dance in the rain
Today will fade
All that’ll be left….
Are the memories we make

Life can get busy. It pulls us in so many directions that often times, time passes and we don’t even know where it went. But let’s take a moment and take an inventory of our life. Where does our time go?
Into our careers? Into our families? Into ourselves? How much of our time goes into the things we actually enjoy and love?
There are many things that should be at the forefront our life’s inventory, but if our inventory does not include anything that ignites our soul, makes our heart smile, or allows us to keep dreaming and creating, what then are we investing our lives in?
We are not doing this planet any justice, if we are not investing some of our time into the things that we love – may it be ourselves, a garden, writing, animals, a home, our children. Whatever it may be.
The consciousness of this place deserves our happiness. It’s infectious, it’s inspiring. It makes us better people. It makes this world a better place. Invest your life into the things you love, because “where you invest your love, you invest your life.”
Between your ears, resides a place
A place where demons come to play
To pull you in to the abyss
Where only darkness seems to exist
In this darkness the voice speaks loud
Curses the light, invites in clouds
It brings in guilt, applauds the shame
Makes you feel small, calls you by name
There are many places you’ll try to hide
From this voice that lives inside
You’ll try to run away from this place
The place where demons come to play
And sometimes “friends” will come to your aid
Only to turn on you the next day
Leaving you there to pick yourself up
With empty bottles and a half poured cup
What if I told you it’s not real
How that voice tries to make you feel
What if I told you, demons die
When you look them right in the eyes
What if I told you in that place
There is a soul, it has your face
What if I told you, you possess
the power to bring this voice to rest
What I am telling you is true
The light is waiting to find you
No need to hide or run away
Open your eyes, turn night to day
So in this place, between your ears
There are no demons for you to fear
They are not real, they are not you
What that voice says is all untrue.
But if you dive and find yourself there
Breathe in courage, breathe out despair
Open your eyes, you’ll see the light
You’ll see your soul, your heart, your might.
Love yourself and go to war
With all the things invading your shores
Fight for your heart, fight for your life
Fight for the gift of being alive.
Strong with the pain
Strong with the tears
Strong with release
Of all haunting fears
Strong with the love
Strong with the faith
Strong with the certainty
Of life’s flow of change
Strong with the gratitude
Strong with the giving
Strong with the promise
For the soul to keep on living
Wake up from the Winter’s sleep
Greet Tree’s bloom and Willow’s weep
Bask in warming of the Sun
Back to Life, Spring has begun.
To be a woman
With soft curves
And a gentle heart
A Creation of art
With strength to endure
The labor of life
And compassion to fill
A dark room with light
With a beautiful smile
Of an innocent girl
With passionate dreams
To keep changing the world
The Universe by Pablo Carlos Budassi
And so I surrender…
How would you like for me to help?
What would you like for me to do?
Because now I realize
My purpose can only be revealed by you….
Here I’ll give my extended hand
To have you take me through your plans
Guided by all pure intentions
Led by faith, no apprehensions
Ambitious dreams, we’ll start anew
Dear 2016…it’s nice to meet you.
They say you grew big from a seed
Planted here, kind of like me
They say you swam in darkness a while
Listening to a heartbeat, can you hear mine?
They say you took your first breath and cried
Not of sadness but to express your might
They say you see this world with wonder
With a curious heart and much left to ponder
What they do not say, is what you will become
someone who knows, you and I, are one.
