Fleeting

Here’s the thing….
The feeling is fleeting.
That darkness we fall to.
Keeping us.
It’s not.
Make it another minute.
Let go.
So we may realize
The sun will set to give way to another sunrise.
Every day, Every time.
The feeling is fleeting.
It will come….and then it will go.
Just make it another minute.

“I Promise If You Keep Searching for Everything Beautiful in This World, You Will Eventually Become It” – Tyler Kent White

Written for and Published in The Seeds 4 Life.

When was the last time your eyes witnessed the sunrise? When was the last time your eyes witnessed the sunset? Or the grateful green the grass exudes after a summer rain? Or the full moon illuminating passing clouds? When was the last time your eyes witnessed beautiful?

It’s here, beautiful is here. Even in darkness, we can close our eyes and search our memories for beautiful. The smile of the person we love, the bloom of a rose, the joy of gratitude in being alive.

And the most incredible gift we receive by seeing the beautiful in this world, is sharing that vision with others and giving them the hope the world can be beautiful for them as well.

Past, Present, Future

“Carpe Diem”  -Horace

The past, a house where the ghosts of memories live. Memories, which evoke fondness, pains or regret; Inviting one to escape to the garden of oblivion or the hell of numbness.
The present, the truth. What is here and now. What is tangible. The outcome of the past and the pathway to the future. Which eventually becomes another room in the home of the past.
The Future, the vision of the foundation built in the past, but living in the present. The desires, anxieties and fears held tight by the experiences lived in the past and thought of in the present. The uncertain.

Living is done in the present, but cannot live if living is done in the past. Living is done in the present, but cannot live if living is done in the future. Living is done in the present. What once was can no longer be and what will be is not now.
