Fleeting

Here’s the thing….
The feeling is fleeting.
That darkness we fall to.
Keeping us.
It’s not.
Make it another minute.
Let go.
So we may realize
The sun will set to give way to another sunrise.
Every day, Every time.
The feeling is fleeting.
It will come….and then it will go.
Just make it another minute.

Hello, Sunrise.

Hello, sunrise.
Thank you for showing up again.
I’ve waited all night long for you.
Although, I know the morning will come, I always hope the night rushes to meet you.
Because when it does, it reminds me my day is here and I can choose to live as you do,
illuminating the entire sky.

Another Sunrise Picture….

….yes…based on your perspective, that’s all it is; but maybe it should serve as a reminder that we have been fortunate enough to wake up to a new day. That life is moving, it’s changing, it’s inviting. That your darkness will be illuminated with light if you just OPEN your eyes….and that we are all exposed to the same sky, on this “blue dot”, two-thirds of the way out from the center of the Milky Way Galaxy….orbiting this sun….in another sunrise picture.

Close this chapter, the words are done
It’s time to continue, yesterday is gone
A new chapter awaits your presence
Shed your past’s skin, but take the lessons

Close this chapter, resume your story
Tomorrow will come, with all of its glory
Take your intentions and make them pure
Whatever is to come, is ready to be yours

Tides

Brings to shore what hides in the deep
To wash away uncertainties we keep
And then exposes what’s left in the sand
To give an opportunity to begin again

Collect your shells and write your name
But be prepared for the tide to claim
What you’ve shared and let go
Only you and sea, will know.

Sunrise

We meet at dawn with the morning dew,

In the peaceful quiet of this day anew.

Admire the dance between rays and sky.

As the moon fades, a sweet kiss goodbye.

Clouds invite soft melodies of colors,

An artful display of passionate lovers.

I humbly express my gratitude,

For the sunshine’s presence in solitude.
